The second mode combines the files available on the batch list. In either mode the file type (whether Dolby or AC3 etc.) are shown. File name along with time of the clip, number of channels, frequency, bit rate, and the system are indicated.

On the other side of the interface you set the time slices you need on these clips individually. Destination file name will need to be specified and a progress bar will indicate how the cuts or the merge is progressing. The tool does its job well and could be used to author DVD contents easily that may need audio clips to be added to video and other content. However, it is not clear if a home user needs to use this. It will need some amount of understanding and learning anyway.
