This software will let you split audio files into smaller pieces.
DVD Audio Files Splitter is software that lets you divide an audio file into smaller files according to the user-specified time intervals. DVD Audio Files Splitter is useful for audio files that are used in DVD recording of movies such as AC3, DTS, WAV (PCM) and MPA. DVD Audio Files Splitter should be useful when authoring of DVDs or for making changes in the content. The program makes it easy to split files by time intervals. The program offers two modes. One is "cut every file from list" by given time intervals. The second mode is "merge all files before processing". You can easily switch between these modes, available as tabs on the interface. The second mode combines the files available on the batch list. In either mode the file type (whether Dolby or AC3 etc.) are shown. File name along with time of the clip, number of channels, frequency, bit rate, and the system are indicated.
On the other side of the interface you set the time slices you need on these clips individually. Destination file name will need to be specified and a progress bar will indicate how the cuts or the merge is progressing. The tool does its job well and could be used to author DVD contents easily that may need audio clips to be added to video and other content. However, it is not clear if a home user needs to use this. It will need some amount of understanding and learning anyway.
